The ever-growing Android phone market continues to advance with new flagship devices. OnePlus, known for its annual special events, is set to introduce its flagship model this year: the OnePlus 13. With numerous leaks already circulating, more features of the device have now been revealed. Here are the details of the OnePlus 13’s features and design…
OnePlus 13 to feature a 2K LTPO OLED display
The OnePlus 13, which has been the subject of leaks since the beginning of the year, is expected to attract attention with its features. The flagship, which will be announced by OnePlus after Qualcomm introduces the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, likely won’t be the first phone powered by this processor. In terms of design, it appears that the OnePlus 13’s camera has been moved to the front.
Looking at the newly leaked features of the OnePlus 13, it is expected to come with a curved 2K LTPO OLED display. One notable detail is that the upcoming device could be the brand’s first flagship model with an IP69 dust and water resistance certification. The OnePlus 8 Pro was the first to have an IP68 certification, and now the OnePlus 13 might be the first OnePlus flagship phone to receive the IP69 certification.
Additionally, it is rumored that this anticipated Android device will be the company’s first phone to use an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Following the recently introduced Ace 3 Pro model, the OnePlus 13 is expected to come with an ultra-large silicon negative electrode battery of 6,000mAh or 6,100mAh.
The battery is said to support the same 100W fast charging. On the camera front, the OnePlus 13 will reportedly feature a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope lens. The OnePlus 13 is expected to be announced in late November or early December in China.
